My first EDF design with strong inspiration from established UAVs such as the Boeing MQ-28 and the Kratos XQ-58A
A simple design with a sleek fuselage and a compound wing design for great lift generation and high speed performance
I used my tool changing 3d printers to create parts with living hinges. The main wing and control surface are a rigid material, and the hinge is a flexible material. Careful design and printing yielded a very clean design which was ready to use right off the printer.
